Managing the quality of our service
The Care Inspectorate was set up in April 2011 by the Scottish Government as a single regulatory body for social work and social care services, including child protection and the integration of children’s services. Unannounced inspection monitors the quality of the service and reports are then created to highlight recommendations or requirements on the service.
*Please note our childcare services were re-branded collectively on 26th June 2015 under the ‘Rising Stars’ brand. Prior to this each operated under individual identities which might be reflected in their last Care Commission report if it was completed before this date.
