Customer Assistant

This could potentially start as a few weeks work experience, if they have displayed the correct attitude, behaviours, personality, reliability and work ethic, then there is a job opportunity attached to this.

Duties:

• Always delivering excellent customer service, 
• Stock rotation and replenishment, taking goods from back stock room and filling shelves with them, 
• Helping customers with any enquiries in a polite and friendly manner, 
• Cash handling and card transactions, 
• Promoting any special offers to customers, 
• Visual merchandising, 
• Keeping store area clean and tidy, general housekeeping duties, 
• Working as part of a busy team, 
• Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures within the workplace

Essential Requirements:

• Eager to pursue a career within the retail sector, 

• Strong communication skills, 
• An understanding of good customer service, 
• Polite and friendly manner, with the ability to engage with colleagues and customers alike, 
• Reliable and trustworthy, 
• Good understanding of English language, able to follow instructions, 
• Essential that you can work the one day at weekends that is required, 
• Able to produce RTW in the UK documents, 
• Good personal presentation

Additional Information:

Rate of Pay £8.00 - £12.71 an hour (depend upon age and experience)

This is 8 hours a week temporary contract, there may be potential for a permanent role later.
