Window Cleaning Operative

Duties:

Jobs will include the following tasks to be performed daily, 

• Removal of window protection, labels and stickers from UPVC frames and glass using safe methods of work, 

including solvent washing frames and using a scraper to remove stickers and mortar splashes, 

• Safely remove any glue residue using window cleaning equipment, 

• Internally remove paint splashes and clean UPVC frames and glass using soap and squeegee, 

• Externally wash all frames with glass using soap and squeegee, 

• Clean all glass in and out and leave in a clean manner ready for new home owners, 

• Clean external garage doors and low level black gutters, 

• Safe use of ladder work (1 level up, nothing higher), 

• Keep company vehicle and equipment in good working order and presentable, 

• Report any damages to site supervisor or site manager

Essential Requirements:

This position would suit a driver that can go from site-to-site on their own and perform window cleaning tasks but if not a driver, we could look to allocate you a squad/driver depending on area/meeting point. 

Being able to work on your own or as part of our teams is essential and a willing to learn our methods of working.

Qualifications Required: You’ll work towards gaining a CSCS card and understand basic health and safety whilst on site

Van and equipment supplied including a fuel card so there is no cost for you to get to and from work each day,
