We provide access to training for Glasgow City Council residents who want to get a job, or change their job, but need new skills to do so. Linking to a variety of approved training providers means we can offer access to a wide range of bespoke training courses and qualifications.

These include; Care Vocational, Office Skills Diploma, Personal Licence Holder for the sale of alcohol, European Computer Driving Licence, Food Hygiene, and Emergency First Aid.

In addition we offer industry licences such as the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS), Security Industry Authority (SIA), and the Industrial Forklift licence, all of which support access to employment in construction, warehouse, and/ or security environments.

We can source training in other areas. This may be as a result of working with local employers who have identified a need for training in a particular industry, or to support someone who has specific employment opportunities.

Of late, these have included, Scottish Vocational Qualifications in Childcare and caring for young people, and the Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) licence.

Access to all of our courses are fully funded, which means they are available at no cost whatsoever. Our goal is simply to equip our customers with the skills they need to return to work.
