We operate two teams - building & maintenance - with a maximum of 3 staff in each team. There is a role available for each division although successful applicants will be expected to work on both divisions as and when required.

Job Description and Company Profile
We are looking for a trainee landscape gardener to join our team to help look after a portfolio of private gardens to a professional standard.
We need someone who is comfortable working outdoors, able to meet the physical demands of a labour-intensive job, is willing to learn new skills & can communicate effectively within a team.
Main Duties:
• Tending lawns, trimming hedges, removing weeds and rubbish.
• Maintaining the wellbeing of all plant material in ground, tubs & baskets.
• Planting new trees, flowers, shrubs and deciding on location.
• Ensuring that all garden equipment is correctly operated, maintained and serviced.
• Giving advice and guidance to clients on all matters relating to gardening.
• Helping our building team when needed (e.g., holiday cover)
Key Skills Experience and Knowledge
Competencies:
• Knowledge of plants & how to operate machinery is desirable.
• A clean driving licence would also be a great advantage.
Education, Qualification and Training
This position would perfectly suit someone who has recently completed a horticultural college course & wants to get into the industry straight away or has a basic knowledge of garden maintenance and wants make it their career.
Ongoing training in established horticultural & landscaping practices is provided.
