Duties: Purpose of the Role: - To work collaboratively with residents and colleagues to deliver high-quality, person-centered care that respects dignity, promotes independence, and enhances wellbeing. The role includes supporting personal care needs, social and emotional wellbeing, and encouraging meaningful daily activity, in accordance with the SSSC Codes of Practice, Health and Social Care Standards, and current legislation and guidance from the Care Inspectorate. Act as a keyworker, contributing to personal outcomes planning and regular review of individual support plans. Promote and support independent living skills wherever possible. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Worker. The ideal candidate will assist in the production and remanufacturing of lighting fixtures, ensuring that all products meet high-quality standards before dispatch. Duties:
Assemble and recondition lighting fixtures according to company specifications and remanufacturing procedures. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Conduct quality checks to ensure all assembled products meet company and regulatory standards. Work closely with the production team to meet daily and weekly targets. Assist in the organization and maintenance of the workshop and production area. Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and workstations. Support logistics and inventory management by keeping track of parts and materials.
Essential Requirements:
Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently within a team. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. Ability to lift and move moderate loads as part of daily tasks.
Desirable Requirements:
Experience in an assembly, production, or manufacturing role preferred Knowledge of basic electrical components and tools is beneficial but not required.
