This course will assist those taking part to build the confidence and skills to assist with job searching. This will include; CV development, application forms, interviews, and mock interviews.
The course is delivered over 3 weeks:
- Building confidence and communication skills, identifying individual skills and then learning the ways in which to express these to an employer via a CV.
- Recognising how to get the most out of job sites and learning how to complete application forms.
- Learning how to prepare for interviews and manage performance, reviewing competency based (STARR) interviews. Then take part in a mock interview and receive feedback to support development.
This course provides an excellent opportunity to build the skills and confidence needed to effectively search and apply for jobs, and then communicate with employers.
